Fieldcraft 1/23

Hi everyone--

We will be meeting at Lubbock Landmark tomorrow. A map and directions to LLL can be found here: http://www.depts.ttu.edu/museumttu/lll/location.html

It looks like it will be a pretty day, with temperatures in the 60s, so you might want to bring at least a sweater or light jacket. Please remember also to come prepared to walk and to sit comfortably on the ground. Bring your art kits and binoculars (and bird field guides if you have purchased them).

Here is the list of birds we saw as a group last week (thanks to Matthew!):

1. White wing dove
2. Eurasian collared dove
3. Common house sparrow (English sparrow)
4. American gold finch
5. Blue jay
6. European starling
7. Northern flicker woodpecker
8. Inca dove

After this you will be expected to keep your own lists in your notebook.
