Homework: become familiar with your field guide. page through it a few times, checking our the birds. Read the text as well, and pay attention to how it is organized.
See if you can figure out which meadowlark we were hearing yesterday. Write up your research process int he journal. Include a couple of drawings of the meadowlark and of the other birds we saw yesterday in your journal. Make natural history notes of each. Extra points to anyone who can tell me something I don't already know.
