Midterm: Find a garden landscape on campus that you respond to. Find out about it--what is planted there, what it was before, if there are any special considerations (e.g., drainage); think about how it does or does not reflect a "sense of place" and prepare to make an argument for that; tell me something about it that I don't know 9this will be your "thesis statement").
Formulate your thesis, then make an appt with me to discuss it sometime this week.
