Meet at the OPC tomorrow at 2:30 to leave for our trip.
The weather looks like it is going to be challenging and so Jordan and I have made some slight changes to the original plan: we will hike on Friday, and canoe on Saturday and Sunday. We will discuss this in more detail tomorrow. It will still be a lot of fun.
Do bring your long underwear, rain gear, warm hat, and gloves, though, as well as the other items on the list. Expect it to be cold at night. The wind will be blowing hard, and the wind chill will be impressive. The rain gear will help block some of that; if you don't have any and can't afford it, the OPC will rent it to you. If you decide to rent it, be sure to show up a little early at the OPC to take care of that.
Several of you have asked about wearing flip flops in camp. We will be doing some hiking on Friday (part of the change in plans), so it would be better to bring running shoes/hiking shoes. Also, these will be warmer at night while in camp.
Don't forget your sack dinner for tomorrow night!
