Meet tomorrow at the Ranching Heritage Center. We will continue sketching the structures.
Prepare the story for each of your structures for presentation a week from Thursday. You should include any information that is relevant to that structure (for example, if it is appropriate for that strucutre, then you mgith include a summary of the structure's history, info about the homestead act, what percentage of homesteaders were able to "prove up," and aspects of daily life, such as food they grew and ate, what they wore, etc.). The details may be different for each structure, but what I want to see is both a reference to the readings and evidence of outside research on the topic.
As always, more is better.
Announcement: the field trip to Caprock Canyon that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to April 4. This will be an optional field trip.
